🌍 Alternative Checkout – How to Place an International Order & Pay by Pre-Payment

This checkout option is available for all customers, both inside and outside Sweden, who for any reason cannot or do not want to use our standard Svea Checkout.

Typical situations where this checkout is useful:

  • You are outside Sweden
  • You don’t have a valid Bank-ID
  • You cannot approve Swish, card payment or invoice in Svea Checkout
  • You have special conditions with us (e.g. test pilots, zero-cost orders, manual agreements)

Payment is handled as pre-payment and processed manually by our team.


✅ Step 1: Add products to your cart

Browse the shop as usual and add the products you want to order.


💳 Step 2: Choose “Alternative Checkout”

Go to the checkout page and scroll down to the section called:

👉 “Alternative Payment Methods” (Alternativa Betalningsmetoder)

Click the button for Alternative Checkout.


✍ Step 3: Fill in your details

  • Enter your shipping and billing address
  • Make sure all details are correct

💡 You will NOT be charged at this stage.


📩 Step 4: Shipping & customs (customers outside EU)

Orders shipped outside the EU may be subject to:

  • Customs duties
  • Import taxes

These fees are paid by the customer upon delivery and are not included in our prices.

🛑 Can’t find your country in the address list and no delivery options available?

No problem.

📧 Contact us and tell us:

  • Your country
  • What you want to order

We’ll review shipping options and enable your country manually if possible.


đŸš© STEP 5: PAYMENT OPTIONS:

⚠ IMPORTANT – Don’t get stuck at checkout – choose payment method to continue

This is the step where many customers get stuck.

To complete your order in Alternative Checkout, you must select
✅ “Bank Transfer” as the payment method to be able to proceed to the next step and place your order.

If you don’t tick this box, you won’t be able to continue to the next step.

✔ This applies to all customers using Alternative Checkout –
including Swedish customers and international customers.

💡 You are not paying yet.
This only allows the order to be placed so we can contact you with payment instructions. Don’t forget to accept the terms and check the box.


📝 Optional: Leave us a message

You can leave a note with your order if:

  • You are a test pilot
  • You have a special agreement
  • You want to clarify how you prefer to pay

✅ Place your order

Once the order is submitted:

  • No payment is taken automatically
  • Your order is placed in our system for manual handling

We will always contact you after the order is placed to confirm payment details.

Depending on your situation, you will receive instructions for:

  • Bankgiro (Sweden)
  • IBAN / bank wire transfer (international customers)
